I just got through reviewing the pictures you took on Sunday and I think they are great! You do wonderful work. As I told you, the players really love to see pictures of themselves, especially action shots. Thank you again.

MORC Stars

Anne,
It was so nice to meet you as well! Thank you so much for coming out and photographing our teams. The kids are so wonderful, and we all get so excited for them when someone new takes interest in what they’re doing! The photos are beautiful, and it looks like you managed to catch each and everyone of the players, which is fantastic. I know the parents and the kids will be thrilled to see all of these photos. I’m still very taken that you sought us out to do something so nice for so many. Please feel free to come out any time to watch the kids play. They love having a cheering section, and always love to meet new people. Thanks again, and I hope we’ll stay in touch!
Sincerely,
Tracy H.

MORC Stars - Special Hockey

Special hockey programs have been established in more than 40 cities in the United States and many more internationally. The goal of special hockey is to give people with physical and developmental disabilities the chance to play the sport of ice hockey in an environment which is adapted to the ability level of each athlete. The MORC Stars hockey team was formed in 2007 as a partnership between Macomb-Oakland Regional Center (MORC) and former professional hockey player Peter Ciavaglia. Ciavaglia, who played for the Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Vipers, and the 1994 US Olympic Team, decided it was time to use his hockey talent to assist people with disabilities.

A Proud Momma:)

"A hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank...but the world may be a better place because I made a difference in the life of a child."

Thank you for coming to the class Saturday to take photos of our kids and the new Wellness Center. Maggie is so anxious to see the photos – some great shots were taken…of course, they were of our kids! We are so grateful of the talent and passion you are sharing with Wigs 4 Kids. You are truly helping change the lives of Michigan children who struggle with hair loss.
